This PR improves the site footer (closes #165). It consolidates the footer layout, adds theme-aware styling (dark & light), improves responsive behavior, and introduces a horizontal quick-links row with a smooth underline progress animation on hover.
What I changed
index.html — replaced existing footer with a compact branded footer structure
style.css — added/updated footer styles:
responsive layout for mobile and desktop
dark & light theme compatibility (uses CSS variables / color fallbacks)
social icons styling and hover interactions
horizontal quick-links row with underline progress animation
improved accessibility: sufficient contrast, focus-visible for links
